Many yacht owners find that there are weeks or months when it is not possible to be on board their yacht as often as they would like. Rather than keeping the yacht stationary in port, making the vessel available through Baja Charters is a good option to keep it in smooth working condition and receive income for an otherwise dormant asset.
Baja Charters has been in the nautical charter business for fourteen years. We own several of our own yachts, and a restaurant and bar on the marina where we are located. We maintain ten websites, have a blog database of 80 articles with photos and maps, a 10,000-subscriber newsletter database, and a robust YouTube channel with 130 videos. New videos are produced routinely.
Baja Charters provides active marketing with updates to copy, photos, material, maps, videos and social media. We are winners of various hospitality awards, including the Trip Advisor Hallmark of Fame, etc., and we have toured Governors, Ambassadors, Olympic athletes, Film personalities and ten members of the British Royal Family. We provide marketing, close charter and tour contracts, collections, and provide a yacht owner with enhanced value for an otherwise inactive yacht.
Yacht owners under the Baja Charters’ umbrella gain marketing, sales and collections, and if preferred, Baja Charters will function as the renter of the owner’s yacht at a wholesale rate on a transactional basis. We are prepared to provide a licensed captain, chef, food, beverages, open bar, deckhand, snorkel gear, wetsuits, a marine biologist as hostess and guide, kayaks, paddleboards, towels, sunscreen, and ground transportation to and from the yacht for guests.
If a yacht owner has their own crew, and is prepared to deliver full services, then Baja Charters can provide the marketing, website, sales and calendar coordination at either an established commission rate, or function as the renter of the boat at a pre-established wholesale rate.
Charter revenues supplement a yacht’s operating budget and help to offset expenses. Let us know how we might best serve.
